NEXT STOP: Kelly Murphy at the Urban Alchemist Design Collective in Park Slope!

Hi Everyone!

It's official! The "G-train Salon" will make its second stop at the gorgeous, jewelry and design oasis, Urban Alchemist (http://www.urbanalchemiststore.com/) on 5th Avenue and 5th Street in Park Slope. Part store, studio, and gallery, Urban Alchemist is collaborating with the "G-Train Salon" for the first Mixed-Media Mash-up: original window installations featuring site-specific environments by emerging artists. Jersey girl and mixed-media extraordinaire Kelly Murphy will kick off the series with her solo exhibition, "Things Left Behind." Using childhood mementos, glass, jewelry and photography (among other items!), Murphy will create a buoyant environment of textures and colors evocative of an underwater exploration.
